Standing out from the traditional Victorian-style homes of the late-19th Century, the Charnley-Persky House was constructed with brick and limestone, giving it a more symmetrical appearance. Designed by Frank Lloyd Wright and Louis Sullivan, the house belonged to two primary families before becoming a National Historic Landmark in Chicago.
