Duets for My Valentine is a Chicago tradition of the city's finest dance artists who perform seductive and
flirtatious dance duets that echo the highs and lows of being in love. Highlighting a myriad of styles such
as jazz, modern, tango, tap, ballet, swing and cha cha, the 2008 line-up includes performances by Luna
Negra Dance Theater, Chicago Tap Theatre, Chicago Dance Crash, Jump Rhythm Jazz Project, The Joel
Hall Dancers, Thodos Dance Chicago, Chicago Ballet, Big City Swing, Chicago Dance Latin and Ballroom
School and a special reading by Marc Smith of the Green Mill poetry slam.

This annual performance has become a tradition for many of Chicago's residents. The Chicago Symphony Orchestra invites the audience to come dressed in their favorite costumes. The orchestra hall is turned into a giant haunted house as the orchestra performs ghoulish music. Recommended for ages 5 and up.
